Electrical Manufacturing Complex
Introduction
At the beginning of 2026, Al-Farraj Group established a new company in the Republic of Bulgaria under the name Black Tiger Group.
This company will operate under all commercial names and trademarks belonging to Al-Faraj Group, including Black Tiger Globe – FTMC – FTC – Westinghouse EU, forming a major strategic industrial gateway for the European market.
The project is located in Sofia, Bulgaria, and is considered one of the largest future industrial complexes for the group worldwide.
Project Location & Area
- The industrial complex will be built on a land area of no less than 30,000 square meters.
- It is designed to support multi-phase expansion over the coming years.
- The complex will become a central hub for advanced electrical and energy manufacturing in Eastern Europe.
Phase One (Starting in July 2026)
Specialization: Electrical & Power Manufacturing
Phase One focuses on manufacturing a range of essential electrical and power products, including:
1. Electrical Circuit Breakers
- Low, medium, and high-voltage circuit breakers.
- Protection systems for industrial and utility networks.
2. Electrical Panels & Control Systems
- LV/MV distribution boards.
- Automation and control panels (PLC / SCADA).
- Industrial electrical cabinets.
3. Power Transformers
- Distribution transformers.
- Medium and high-capacity power transformers.
4. Transformer Units & Power Stations
- Transformer control units.
- Prefabricated and mobile power substations.
- Electrical stations of all types and capacities.
Phase One establishes the factory as a high-level electrical manufacturing center within Europe.
Phase Two (Two Years After Operation – Approximately 2028)
Specialization: Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Systems
In this phase, a new factory will be added to the complex dedicated to the production of:
- Fire extinguishers (powder, CO₂, foam, gas systems).
- Fire alarm systems and detectors.
- Fire alarm control panels.
- Smoke management and industrial safety systems.
This phase expands the industrial diversity and strengthens the group’s integrated safety solutions.
Phase Three (After Completion of Phase Two)
Specialization: Renewable Energy Technologies
This phase represents the largest and most advanced stage of the project, including the construction of a new renewable-energy-focused plant:
1. Solar Cell Manufacturing
- High-efficiency photovoltaic cells.
- Advanced silicon-based solar technologies.
2. Energy Storage Battery Production
- Lithium batteries.
- Industrial and residential energy storage units.
- Batteries tailored for solar and renewable systems.
3. Integrated Renewable Energy Solutions
- Complete solar energy systems.
- Smart energy grids and power management solutions.
When Phase Three is complete, the facility will become one of the largest industrial complexes owned by Al-Farraj Group worldwide, strategically located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
